I need to buy some Tegan and Sara on vinyl. Been getting into them lately, they kick ass at times. gonna submit a short story to Mosaic, which is a magazine that the local college (UCR) publishes.

                                                    local graffiti artists need some originality.

                                                   a couple days ago, i climbed this mountain in the rain on my way downtown.

                                         it got pretty steep!

                                           the view from halfway up was really nice =)

                                       there was an old man band playing downtown a few nights ago. they were good!

                                   Christmas decorations never look as nice during the day.

                                       i have a lot of reading to do over break. pretty excited though!

                                   libraries are always a good visit for good literature!

 i found a bunch of good records! most of them for 99 cents too!

I'll write you a song
and you can sing along.
We'll rhyme with the ocean
in a current of emotion.


While I ramble on
and you sing my song,
the current will rattle and hum;
it's beating will be the percussion and drum.


My voice goes out of key;
It breaks apart our harmony.
The lapping of waves predict catastrophes.
The calm current turns to violent seas!

The wind whispers in the trees
the saxophone's coolest breeze
and the man buckles his knees;
at last he sees
that in order to please
one must seize
their very happiness from stormy seas!
It comes with no ease.
Only difficulties.
